Well let us let you in on a little something. Our mozzarella cheese has NEVER seen a freezer. We slice our own veggies (none of that pre-cut junk for us!). Our pizza dough is made from scratch with our trusty 1965 Hobart mixer (that was the year it was built). We make each batch a full 24 hours ahead of time, because like great wine and flavorful beer, we always wait for the best things in life. No shortcuts.
But what about the sauce? We'll tell you about our sauce! We agree that it’s unusually rare to find pizza where someone has serious time spent on perfecting their sauce. Our sauce is not for those looking for something bland, something just to get by with. Yuck.
Starting with the thickest, heartiest tomato puree on the market, we then load in over 3 pounds of spices to each batch we make. We then wire whip it by hand for over 10 minutes, guaranteeing perfect consistency. The result is a sauce packed with distinct flavors that your taste buds will never find out of a can! We understand the important role red sauce has in a real pizza. We know you’ll know the difference, too! Our recipe is a unique, guarded secret, kept under triple lock and key!
